This model of stairlift has a series of impressive safety features
built in as standard:
Infrared operation
Seat with adjustable angle. You can get safely on and off of
this seat. The stairlift cannot be started until the seat has
come to rest in its original position.
Sensors on the vehicle and on both sides of the footrest control
the ride. If it detects an obstacle the stairlift stops automatically.
Electronic and mechanical braking systems which exclude the
possibility of an unintended start.
Sensors that ensure that the stairlift always stops in the
correct position
Safety lights indicate if the lift is on.
Optional: safety belt
The Perch model permits the user to ride half-standing, half-sitting,
specially for people with knee problems or for narrow stairs.
